Amazing Peggy Porschen
Today I'm lusting after the gorgeous cakes by Peggy Porschen of London.
I really like this cake by Peggy Porschen (you london gals are so lucky!) because you can customize the ribbon after the wedding to any colour you want! what a great cake stand (and the cake ain't that bad either!) :)

Stylish Cake Stands
Today I've been preoccupied with unique cake stands, or cake stands that make your cake (or cupcakes!) really "pop" out in photos. The stand can often be overlooked by the busy bride, yet the choice of a stand really does influence the cake's presentation. Check out some great cake stands below!

This one from Hallmark (of all places!) is just so different!
InStyle featured a great modern cake stand in Feb. '06, but at $308USD, it is a bit out of my price range... a gal can dream! *sigh*

stylish cupcake transport!
While toying with the idea of cupcake favours, I realised there are not that many chic transport ideas for cupcakes. While on my cupcake hero Kylie Lambert's site (of Le Cupcake in Sydney, Australia), I realised that there are ways to present a cupcake as a chic wedding favour. Check out these gorgeous photos (all are by Kylie Lambert):

I feel like the past couple days I've been obsessed with cupcakes! A more modern take on the cupcake idea is the current trend with mini cakes. Mini cakes are great if you want to use them either as centrepieces, table decorations, or favours! The budget-conscious stylish brides will love the multiple uses they can get out of these hot little cakes!
these are ready to take home!
Cake That in Brisbane makes adorable mini cakes (as well as yummy looking cupcakes!)

Interesting idea from Carrie's Wedding Cakes in the US. I'm loving the whole look.

I found some recent inspiration from a baker in South Africa named Zalita. Check out some of her gorgeous mini cakes and cupcakes!
